The Coors Brewery was founded by 26-year old German immigrant Adolph Coors way back in 1873. In his first decade, Adolph Coors was brewing a whopping 3,500 barrels a year, compared to the 22 million barrels a year the facility brews today. Along the way, the company survived prohibition, helped popularize recycling, and became a cult classic.
