Historically, more than 35,000 people come to Golden each year for the annual Fine Arts Festival, which has been ranked by Sunset magazine as one of the best fine arts festivals in the country. The festival, in the Its popularity can be traced to the quality and affordability of the art on display, as well as the breathtaking scenery. Traditionally, the festival hosts close to 150 artists, with 70% of those participating from Colorado.
